Photo shows deputy car parked in handicap spot

EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC)- A photo of a patrol car that is parked in a handicap spot was posted on WTOC's Facebook page.
"The Effingham County Sheriff's Office is handling the incident internally, regarding a Sheriff's patrol car parked in a handicapped parking space. Sheriff McDuffie holds his deputies to a higher standard and this situation is being addressed. The Effingham County Sheriff's Office has an open door policy with the public. Any and all concerns involving Sheriff's Office personnel, day to day operations, complaints, and citizen feedback is welcomed and expected. The Effingham County Sheriff's Office Facebook page is one of many ways the public can communicate directly with the Sheriff's Office," said David Ehsanipoor, public information officer with the sheriff's office. Earlier this month, pictures of a Hinesville police car drew a lot of attention on the WTOC Facebook page.
