Hamburg barracks commander Sgt. Robert Wagner says a local
officer who had spoken with Wackley on Thursday night alerted state police that
he may have been drunk.
Wagner says fellow troopers found Wackley had a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit for drivers of 0.08 percent.
A charge of driving under the influence will be sent to Wackley by summons, according to police. A phone number for him could not immediately be located.
Wagner says investigators will determine if Wackley should also face administrative charges.
