Police Officer And Wife Indicted
A Des Moines Police Officer and his wife have been
indicted in an alleged mortgage fraud scheme. In the 24 page indictment,
Nicholas Klinefeldt, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa,
accuses Lt. Wade Wojewoda of conspiracy and making false statements to a
financial institution. Wojewoda’s wife, Bobbi Jo is charged with conspiracy,
making false statements to a financial institution and bank fraud. Another
couple, Matthew and Jamie Danielson, are also named in the indictment. The
couple gained headlines last year, when the mortgage on their Ankeny home was
invalidated because Jamie Danielson’s signature was not on the mortgage.
