A Miami-Dade police officer was arrested Friday for prescription
fraud, authorities said.
Mark Rodriguez, 41, faces 43 counts of withholding information from a
practitioner in order to obtain a controlled substance or a prescription for
it, and one count of organized scheme to defraud, a report said.
Rodriguez has worked for the police department for 20 years.
It wasn’t immediately known if he had retained an attorney.
