Wellsboro, Pa. - A Wellsboro Police Officer has been
suspended from the department without pay. The borough attorney Chris Lantz
says the officer was suspended yesterday by Mayor James Daugherty.
Lantz says that a criminal investigation is being conducted
by the state police in Coudersport. Lantz says that he expects the findings to
be turned over the state attorney general's office.
