Pointing a Finger: Man Files Claim for Damages, Which City Has Denied
William L. Thomas, 57, Centralia, filed a $15,000
claim for damages against the Centralia Police Department for an alleged
dispute with two police officers last month. Thomas was arrested on April 30
for assaulting an officer after he allegedly grabbed Officer Angie Humphrey’s
hand and slammed her arm into a fence, according to the incident report
provided to The Chronicle.
