MPD Clerk Had Sensitive Documents at Home
A Milwaukee Police clerk is
under investigation after detectives found sensitive police documents in her
home.
She is also the mother of a
man charged with smuggling large loads of marijuana into Milwaukee.
Tasha Foxx has been
employed by MPD for 11 years.
She currently works as a
clerk at District 3, but now she's under investigation.
The Journal Sentinel
reports that detectives searched her home as part of a large marijuana
investigation.
Detectives found sensitive
police paperwork inside Foxx's home, including confidential personnel data
sheets, background check documents and other unspecified documents.
The investigation also
involves her 24-year old son Billy Joe Cannon, Jr. and his father.
Court documents say the
father-son team smuggled hundreds of pounds of marijuana into Milwaukee from
Arizona.
Foxx told the Journal
Sentinel that her son does not live with her, but he claims he does in court
documents.
Now Foxx is under
investigation, but so far she has not been suspended or charged.
