Colwyn Mayor Daniel Rutland said Wednesday that the officer allegedly involved and two others have been taken off the schedule pending an investigation.

He and other officials in the Delaware County borough said the alleged incident occurred while the suspect was in police custody last week

The 17-year-old youth told reporters that the officer hit him once with the stun gun because he wouldn't be quiet.

The mayor said he was unhappy that he wasn't notified when the alleged incident happened. The Delaware County district attorney's office is investigating.
