COLWYN, Pa. — The mayor of a suburban Philadelphia bureau says he has suspended three
officers in connection with the alleged use of a stun gun on a teenage suspect.
Colwyn Mayor Daniel Rutland said Wednesday that the officer
allegedly involved and two others have been taken off the schedule pending an
investigation.

the alleged incident occurred while the suspect was in police custody last week
The 17-year-old youth told reporters that the officer hit
him once with the stun gun because he wouldn't be quiet.
The mayor said he was unhappy that he wasn't notified when
the alleged incident happened. The Delaware County district attorney's office
is investigating.
