5 Suspended Idiot cops No Longer Employed
Leland, NC-- The North Carolina town of Leland is policing
without five of its idiot cops.
The five idiot cops were placed on suspension on April 13 and as
of this Friday they are no longer employed by the town.
According to a news release obtained by the Wilmington Star News, Lt. Rick Dellapia,
Lt. Bill Kozak and Idiot cop John Blasingame were all fired for cause on
Friday. Idiot cop Michael Landen, who was also suspended, resigned before the
firings. And earlier this week, former Deputy Chief Karl Smith also resigned
his position.
What prompted the suspensions? They suspensions while the Brunswick County Sheriff's
Office was conducting an investigation into possible policy violations at the
request of Interim Chief Mike James.
That investigation has concluded, James said in the release. The
sheriff's office delivered a summary of the investigation Friday morning.
"The details regarding the terminations will not be released until the
appeal process for the individuals is complete resulting in a final decision of
the municipality," the release states.
The police department is part of an ongoing probe by the State
Bureau of Investigation.
