ELKTON, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky State Police have charged an
Elkton city cop with drug offenses. The KSP said the agency got information
Thursday that an Elkton officer tried to buy narcotics while on duty. An
undercover investigation was conducted and Officer Russell Morris was arrested
and charged with drug violations, enhanced by having a gun, and official
misconduct. The drug wasn't specified.Morris was booked into the Muhlenberg
County Detention Center.
