WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - West Springfield Mayor Gregory Neffinger told the 22News I-Team that Police Captain Daniel O'Brien is under investigation for alleged misconduct involving a woman last September.
Hampden County District Attorney Mark Mastroianni said his office has completed its investigation into the allegations, and the case has been turned over to the US Attorney's office.
Mayor Neffinger said the city has not yet held an internal investigation. No additional details of this case have been released.
Neffinger told the 22News I-Team that Captain O'Brien has been placed on administrative leave.
